Is it really an endless winter, or does it just feel that way, being my first winter with an active, adventurous, toddler?

GAH! I love love love this! What a perfect example of a slice of life. I hope they use this for inspiration at some point this month. I think you've captured the wonderful blahs of winter incarcerations with little kids. I remember the days! I mean mine are still young too but they can do a lot more on their own and only need me to keep them entertained and busy like 75% of the time - not the FULL TIME gig you've got going. Best of luck, mama. Love stumbling onto perfect quick writes like these when I'm in a rush :)

Oh, how I love this! I remember those days so fondly! Today is one of those days you will want to remember when he is older - and has an attitude about doing his homework! Sometimes I wish for those days when they would snuggle on the couch with you, or when they loved rocking on your lap before bed... but then I remember the potty training, and the temper tantrums! I love my son´s independence, but still long for those younger days sometimes... as I listen to my 12 year old playing Xbox! ;-)

I don't think winters with toddlers in general are fun, but this one's been a doozy. I'd be screaming and crying in rebellion each day if I were their age, too. Spring, or instant summer, can't come soon enough.

Hoping for a spring to come soon.. and what was funny for me as by the time September hit I was ready for the indoor toddler time! Cycle never ended!

I remember those days. My children are older now so I don't have to figure out how to entertain them. Even so, this has been the longest winter! Watching the Cubs spring training game today helped it feel like Spring may be coming eventually.
