“Can I try some?

What is it?
Can I see it?
Show it to me!
Is it in there?
Is she gonna eat it all?
Can I try some?
I want some!
Mama can I try some?”

The second kid’s first experience with food looked a little different than the first.

With myself, my husband, and our toddler crowded around her, baby tried her first bit of blended up carrot. With her older brother yelling most of the time, she gagged and grimaced.

“She doesn’t like it!
Can I have it now?
Mama!
Mama!
Can I try some?”

My little nephew is getting ready to start solids. I have a feeling that his experience will be similar to your first!

What a fun post to start the challenge! Babies and solid foods are always an experience to record. We have some of the funniest pics of our boys when trying new foods. Brothers helping with feeding babies...aways a good time. Ha! Thanks for bringing back some very fond memories tonight.

Hilarious! I love the gags! I always felt bad laughing, but it is funny to watch. Hope she isn't a picky eater!

So glad the 1st born has her back! I always gave my mushrooms to my brother.

What a great slice! You say so much with so few words. I love the running commentary from your older son!

Ha! I can picture this happening in my mind. I loved the voice you added into your post.

It sounds like your toddler enjoyed it more than your little one!
