Blogging in March is the only reason that the majority of the things I know about the last 4 years of my life happened in March.
I'm grateful for this challenge because every year when I join and get my account ready, I reread the memories from the previous years. That is my motivation to keep coming back. It honestly makes me wish I kept a journal, so I could really soak in the little moments in the time when my kids are so little, and be able to share all of this with them someday. Sometimes I sit at the computer and think I have no idea what to write about. I think that nothing happened on this day, especially these "mundane" days in quarantine. But something always comes up, and then when I reread it later I am so, so glad I recorded it.

I have thought that same thing... I should really keep a journal because so many things happen that I don't even realize that I want to remember. Hope you are all staying well!

It is so nice to have these posts to look back on. This year has been weird but hopefully we will look back on this next year and hardly remember what it was like to be "quarantined".

I agree with you. Once I do this Slice of Life Writing it makes me want to journal, but I also know that usually April is a busy time in our "normal" lives with spring sports starting up, getting ready for Easter, and trying to get all my teaching and assessments organized to make sure we get it all in. This year, we won't have a lot of that . . . so maybe this is the year to start journaling?
